CLUSTER COURTYARD HOUSING – CONTEMPORARY HOUSING WITH A LOCAL TWIST

The design for the Cluster Courtyard Housing in Lijiang, China is inspired by the traditional architecture of the region, while integrating contemporary elements, and integrating outdoor courtyards for the introduction of green space, creating a harmonious interior and exterior living environment. The project emphasizes thoughtful spatial arrangements, with housing clusters carefully positioned to foster a sense of community while maintaining privacy. The design balances modern functionality and aesthetic, while referencing the traditional architecture of the region.
