Bluebird Caye – Resort of Sea and Sand

Bluebird Caye Villas and Resort consist of ten 2-to-3-bedroom villas rimming the ocean side of the north part of the island. Bisecting the island and located in the middle is the lobby building and beach club with a large freshwater-saltwater pool connecting to the beach and coral reef.  The inner portion of the resort area will be defined by meandering paths within a lush garden of local flora. Specimen mangrove trees at key points along the meandering path will punctuate the experience of the garden. The ecologically sustainable resort includes membrane sewer treatment with bioreactor wetland system, grey water collection and filtration, and photovoltaic panels for electricity generation.
