USC 2021 ASSOCIATES AWARD FOR ARTISTIC EXPRESSION

We were very happy to hear that principal Yo-ichiro Hakomori received the University of Southern California 2021 Associates Award for Artistic Expression. The award committee was impressed by the work of StudioHAU and its focus on sustainability and the management of natural forces. It stated, “He is renowned for his distinguished designs while crafting elegant architectural space that is both beautiful and functional. His aesthetically powerful work rests in harmony with nature, advances sustainability, and draws upon the expressive possibilities of the materials he uses to build his structures.” We are grateful to receive this distinguished award from the University of Southern California.
