Baan Yamu FRAME House
A second home for an expatriate businessman from New Zealand, the Phuket house is located in the famed Baan Yamu development in Phuket, Thailand. The house is conceived as a series of large nested concrete frames, with the interior spaces defined by a varied arrangement of smaller, vertical concrete fins. The house takes advantage of the views to the ocean by locating the main house at the highest point of the lot, with a terraced garden, pool and guesthouse stepping down the property.
